Both albums consist of only Instrumentals, one album produced entirely by the big brother Husky (Rochester Ny, Producer for Junclassic and K-sise out of NYC) and the other album produced entirely by Sam.i.Am the Son (Rochester Ny, Producer for Pyinfamous out of Mississippi).

About Signal To Noise

As a learning exercise, and something to challenge myself, I wanted to try to combine two of my favorite things: motion-graphics and time-lapse photography.
I also wanted to see if I could stretch my editing techniques a little further.

The VLA really is a legitimately amazing thing to see in person. If you’ve ever considered making a visit, you should.
It’s an awe-inspiring feat of human engineering, and the surroundings are gorgeous. Unbelievable skies in New Mexico. I caught some nasty weather, but it was still a great experience. I’m definitely going back!

Mahalia is hugely talented 13 year old singer songwriter with a deeply affecting voice, original songs and beautiful new music.

Able to compose and perform on guitar or piano, Mahalia writes songs which are honest, beautiful and full of character, telling stories from her past, and of her future.

A story which started with victory in a local schools talent contest has continued with live performances in London, Birmingham, Leicester and Bestival, and writing collaborations with Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran) and more recently Sacha Skarbek (James Blunt).

Apart from that she is a regular 13 year old, who loves nicking her brother’s hoodie and a half-term sleep-over.

Lady Leshurr

Birmingham born Lady Leshurr is a female MC/singer and producer, poised and ready to take the world by storm. She has developed her own unique style, having been making music since the age of six. Her uniquely sounding flow has an instantly likeable appeal, complimented by a melodic singing voice and harmonies that just pour off her tongue. Her commercial style is backed up and accompanied by fast-paced and, at times, fierce lyrics; Leshurr can literally spit on anything.
A powerful performance on last year’s Glastonbury Introducing stage has thrown Leshurr further into the limelight and she is fast becoming known as “the one to watch” (Mike Skinner – Guardian Newspaper). Her stage presence is second to none and her writing talents enviable.

Leshurr’s material blends her unique sound with popular genres encompassing house, hip hop, dancehall and pop. Citing Lil Wayne as one of her key influences, Leshurr could already be his female equivalent. She loves to experiment and constantly seeks to further her vision to create a sound that takes music to a whole new level.
Leshurr has featured on tracks with Tinie Tempah, Wiley, Lethal B and Dot Rotten, to name a few, and since signing a publishing deal with EMI, she was worked with a range of producers including R1, Noisa, Loco and Wizzy Wow. She was a part of the Female Takeover alongside Lioness and Baby Blue, and was also invited by DJ Cameo to feature on his collaboration track, “Who’s Dat?”. Leshurr recently supported Wiley on his nationwide tour and has just finished touring with Lethal B and Ghetts as part of the Bigga Fish tour.

The talk of the UK’s urban scene, Leshurr now has the support of the UK’s premiere hip hop DJs, Tim Westwood, Mista Jam, Target and Cameo; and she is beginning to grab the attention of both Radio One and Galaxy Networks. Her recent cover of the Chris Brown/Busta Rhymes collab “Look At Me Now” has become a global phenomenon, amassing in excess of 100,000 hits in half a day on WSHH.

In June 2011, Lady Leshurr launched her own record label, Gutter Strut Recordings, in partnership with her manager. To compliment the music releases, she has designed a range of merchandise which is now on sale.

To add to her musical talents, Leshurr played one of the lead females in Vertigo Films’ 2009 critically acclaimed movie “1 Day”. A talented actress as well as an artist, Leshurr simply loves to perform. Her first single, “Lego” (produced by Wizzy Wow) is due to be released independently in October 2011.

RIP Don Cornelius

LOS ANGELES — U.S. music impresario Don Cornelius, whose TV show Soul Train helped expose music acts like Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder to millions of Americans, died Wednesday of a gunshot wound, police said. He was 75.

“He did pass away this morning” at his home in the Sherman Oaks area, Los Angeles Police Department officer Sara Faden told AFP.

She said police responded to a 4:00 am call of a shooting, but Faden said she was not able to confirm U.S. media reports that Cornelius died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
